Poland: BSJP advise on the construction of a plant for Schnee Polska
BSJP Brockhuis Jurczak Prusak Sroka Nilsson Sp. k. law firm advised Schnee Polska Sp. z o.o. on legal issues connected with the construction of a manufacturing plant in Poland.
The plant will be erected in Sieradz, on the territory of the Łódź Special Economic Zone. The planned investment includes the construction of a new assembly line for automated production of wire components for white goods industry, mainly wire racks for dishwashers, with the use of a very complex automated welding and bending lines and a modern fluidised bed coating process. The plant is to eventually hire personnel of 110. The estimated value of the investment volume amounts to at least 15 million euro.
Schnee Polska Sp. z o.o. belongs to Schnee-Gruppe capital group, one of the leading manufacturers of wire solutions and the third-largest supplier and manufacturer of wire components for white goods in Poland. In 1946, Josef Schnee KG was founded, which commenced production of first household products made of wire. Since 1990, the company produces as well inserts for dishwashers.
The scope of legal advisory services rendered to the investor by BSJP comprised in particular advice connected with obtaining of a permit to run business activity on the territory of a special economic zone (to include drawing up the tender offer and documentation) as well as contractual issues (to include agreement for acquisition of the real estate from the City of Sieradz and agreement with the general contractor). The BSJP team consisted of Jarosław Sroka, as the team leader, and Grzegorz Wąsiewski.
