For the second time, Levant and partners law firm is delighted to announce the contribution of Russian chapter to the Art Law Review. The publication is available on the official webpage of the Art Law Review (https://thelawreviews.co.uk/title/the-art-law-review/russia).

Launched by the Law Business Research in 2020, The Art Law Review is an annual overview of art law updates and trends in the art market in different jurisdicitions. The second edition of The Art Law Review contains information about twenty jurisdictions authored by the leading international lawyers specialising in Art law. Each of twenty chapters covers the following topics: the news of the art market, remarkable deals and disputes, legislative updates, international copyright issues, trusts and foundations, fakes, forgeries and authentication. Futhermore, the authors also share their views for the future.

In addition, seven chapters represent papers on the topics common for many jurisdictions: recent developments in the art market, application of copyright to art, the mediation and arbitration of international art disputes, cultural property disputes and others.

While the first edition of the Russian chapter in 2020 contained an overview of the legislative framework and important precedents, the second edition of Russian chapter focuses on the legislative updates introduced in 2021 and illustrates the NFT phenomenon with a variety of remarkable examples.

We hope that our publication will be of an interest to a wide audience, lawyers and those who are simply passionate about art.

We will be glad to receive your feedback and thoughts at art@levantlegal.com.
