With the beginning of January 2019, BSJP Brockhuis Jurczak Prusak Sroka Nilsson Sp. k. (“BSJP”) welcomed new partners to the firm: Ewa Boryczko, Ph.D., until now in charge of BSMP law office and attorney-at-law / patent attorney Marcin Kroll, who until now has been co-operating with act BSWW law firm. Legal counsel Maciej Kuropatwiński, with BSJP since 2009, becomes a limited partner.

Ewa Boryczko is a legal counsel, with a several years' experience in legal advisory services rendered to entrepreneurs from the French language area. She provides comprehensive legal service to large companies, in particular industrial plants and commercial networks. She advises on issues related to the establishment of companies and their mergers, divisions and transformations, also within the range of restructuring of capital groups and holdings.

Thanks to the new partner's vast expertise, the law firm adds to its offer a new specialization, BSJP French, via which it will provide support to French entities operating in Poland and Polish companies doing business in France.

Along with Ewa, the office is joined by a team of specialists in the field of, among others, IP and new technologies law, insurance law and labour law: legal counsel Andrzej Załęski, attorney-at-law Maciej Jura and attorney-at-law Michał Włodarczyk.

Another addition to the team is Marcin Kroll, attorney-at-law, expert in the field of intellectual property law. Marcin is also a patent attorney and a professional representative before the EUIPO in respect of trademarks and designs. He is interested in new technologies and personal data and privacy protection. He also advises on advertising law, e-commerce and commercial law.

BSJP thus receives a strong expert know-how in respect of IP and new technologies law, privacy protection, in particular personal data protection, to include compliance with the provisions of the GDPR.

What is more, our partner Maciej Kuropatwiński, legal counsel, becomes a limited partner. Maciej advises on major investment projects and transactions. He also specializes in litigation in the area of energy -, real estate - and commercial law.
