• Transport and trade specialist Simon Cartwright has re-joined the partnership after 16 years in London and Dubai, bolstering the firm’s maritime, logistics and commodities practice.  Simon has extensive international experience advising on shipping and commodities contracts and handling related disputes.

  • Auckland, New Zealand hosted the IPBA conference in April.  In association with The College of Law, Hesketh Henry hosted the first IPBA Korean night at our premises on Wednesday 5th April.  Over 100 guests accepted the invitation to join fellow Korean IPB members and local Korean-New Zealand lawyers for canapes and drinks.  The night was a great success.

  • Hesketh Henry are proud to have Nick Gillies, Partner Litigation and Dispute Resolution Team chairing the upcoming ‘The Build Summit’  in Auckland on the 26-27 June 2017. Nick has a particular expertise in construction, insurance and professional negligence. New Zealand’s construction sector is currently experiencing the largest boom in a generation.  Demand is at a high and is expected to remain elevated until at least 2022.  The Build Summit has an impressive line up of topics aimed at helping the industry seize the current opportunities and maximise productivity by embracing new ideas and navigating the issues facing the sector.
