JTJB welcomes Ting Chi Yen as a Partner in the Firm’s Corporate Practice.

Chi Yen has been in practice for almost 19 years. He started his career as an associate with Wee, Tay & Lim LLP after graduating from NUS with a Bachelor of Law. He joins JTJB after spending the last 16 years at his previous firm where he was a Partner and the Head of the Banking and Finance practice at a leading law firm in Singapore. 

Chi Yen focuses on banking, finance and corporate advisory. He has regularly acted for both lenders and borrowers in a wide range of cross-border matters involving working capital, trade finance, structured finance, acquisitions, securitisation, projects, syndicated and asset financing (particularly in ship and real estate acquisition and finance). He has also been advising banks and financial institutions with compliance, AML, KYC and other regulatory requirements.
