Netherlands: Boels Zanders Lawyers chooses Neota Logic AI platform

Transform Data International is delighted that Boels Zanders Lawyers has chosen the Neota Logic platform. Boels Zanders Attorneys is fully transitioning to Microsoft’s Azure and Office 365 cloud services in 2019. Custodian for Legal will be used for document and file management. Boels Zanders is always looking for ways to further digitise its processes and expertise.

Jos Meuwissen, ICT Manager at Boels Zanders, says: “After a short proof of concept in which an application was realised to support the Prevention of Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Act (Wwft), the Neota Logic platform was chosen. Boels Zanders now has all the software it needs to generate documents and contracts intelligently, optimise processes and automate legal expertise. There are plans to use Neota Logic’s technology for both internal operations and for cooperation with our clients. This could include apps for assessments, intakes, and contract generation”. Boels Zanders has now enthusiastically started working with internal workshops to model the complex decision trees.

Neota Logic maximises the speed, precision and efficiency of critical decision-making in complex political, legal and compliance environments. The platform is used within banks, insurance companies, law firms and legal departments.

Within the legal profession, Neota Logic is used to achieve internal efficiency, professionalise client communications and create new revenue streams, replacing hours with applications. Neota Logic apps are also often offered to clients to determine whether regulatory changes will impact an organisation, as self-service tools to enable clients to perform their own work, to draft agreements together, etc.

Neota Logic’s intuitive, visual environment and no-code approach is accessible to everyone. Non-programmers can develop, test, document and implement key applications in no time. Every year, hundreds of lawyers worldwide are trained in the Neota Logic platform, including some in the Netherlands. The University of Amsterdam and Leiden University of Applied Sciences have recently chosen to make Neota Logic an integral part of their LegalTech training programmes.
