JTJB Managing Partner K. Murali Pany hosted this seminar on 22 February 2019 with guest speaker Ken Shortall, Managing Director of TMC Marine.

The 2020 Global Sulphur Cap is a major regulatory change that will affect shipowners particularly and the maritime industry generally. Murali highlighted potential risks and legal liability that could arise due to the sulphur cap while Ken discussed technical issues relating to choosing and using scrubbers as a means of complying with the sulphur cap. Attendees at the interactive seminar included shipowners, charterers, flag administrators and insurers.
