Guided by the expertise of Cornet Vincent Ségurel's corporate department, the operation will enable the Bagelstein group to accelerate its commercial development in France, finance its working capital requirements, and carry out external growth operations.
Midi Capital is a portfolio management company which specializes in investment in unlisted SMEs in a development or transmission phase (LBO).
The Bagelstein group, the French market leader in bagels, has 26 restaurants, either owned by it or operating under franchise, located in France's largest towns and cities, and it wishes to rapidly create a chain of fifty restaurants within 24 months. The investment made by Midi Capital, in the context of a club deal management mandate, will enable the Bagelstein group to accelerate its commercial development in France by opening new restaurants, and finance its working capital requirements.
The Cornet Vincent Ségurel team was led by Adrien Debré, partner assisted by Anna Verri, associate lawyer. Alfred Lortat-Jacob, partner, was in charge of the tax aspects of the project.
