England: Ashfords' Marine - VAT Sailaway Scheme
The Sailaway Scheme enables an (eligible) person to buy a boat from a supplier in the European Community (EC) without paying VAT, provided certain conditions are met. However, from 1 January 2012 a UK resident will no longer be able to benefit from the scheme.
