England: Ashfords LLP has expanded its team to include expertise in ports and harbours
Ashfords LLP has expanded its team to include expertise in ports and harbours; with the addition of Lara Moore, Richard Voke and Ken Smith there is now a broad based expertise in the following areas:-
- Marine Regulation: advice is given on a regular basis on aspects of marine regulation including harbour revision, empowerment and closure orders, harbour and pilotage dues and harbour directions and byelaws. We have also been involved in advising on how to dispose of wrecks, with oil pollution claims and related environmental matters.
- Coastal Development and Real Estate: We can now offer specialist advice on coastal development and are due to host a seminar in London on the 22nd June 2016. Our team is able to provide a seamless service from the inception of development proposals to utilisation or disposal of the completed development. In a recent case involving a £1.4 billion development in Gibraltar, the team has advised on construction contracts, project finance, option agreements, leases, freehold disposal, mixed use and residential developments and issues arising out of high value and complex rent reviews.
