The National Land Transportation Agency (ANTT) carried out the first phase of the auction for concession of Highway BR-050, connecting the states of Minas Gerais and Goiás, to build, improve and operate 436 kilometers, running from the crossing with Highway BR-040, in the municipality of Cristalina, GO, and the municipality of Delta, MG (located on the Minas Gerais-São Paulo state line). The estimated value of the contract is R$ 10 billion.

The Planalto Consortium, composed of Construtora Estrutural, Construtora Kamilos, Ellenco Construções, Engenharia e Comércio Bandeirantes, Greca Distribuidora de Asfaltos, Maqterra, Senpar, TCL Tecnologia e Construções, and Vale do Rio Novo, was the winner with a proposal of a Basic Toll of R$ 0.04534 per km, 42.38% under the maximum permitted bid.
The winning Consortium was assisted from the start of the process by the team of Siqueira Castro Advogados, formed by the partners Letícia Queiroz de Andrade, Fábio Maluf Tognola, Marcelo Freitas Pereira and Maria Cibele Affonso dos Santos along with the associates Juliana Pereira Rezende, Renata de Almeida Faria, Regina Costa Rillo and Mateus Camilo Ribeiro da Silveira.
Seven other consortiums also took part in the auction, formed by companies such as TPI – Triunfo Participações e Investimentos, Ecorodovias, Queiroz Galvão, Odebrecht Transport, Invepar, Arteris and CCR.
