Brazil: Prof. Siqueira Castro receives the Levi Carneiro Medal from the Brazilian Institute of Lawyers (IAB).
He will receive this important award at a plenary session of the IAB. This is one of the most important honors bestowed by the IAB, which is a centenary academic body formed of lawyers, created by Emperor Pedro II, and was the precursor of the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).
Professor Siqueira Castro holds the Constitutional Law Chair at Rio de Janeiro State University (UERJ) Law School and is a member of the Federal Board of the OAB.
Professor Siqueira Castro was one of the advisors to the Constituent Assembly that enacted Brazil’s Constitution of 1988, and he has extensive knowledge of regulatory and constitutional law. He can speak with you on these themes if you would like.
