ADVOC Members at IBA Conference - Sydney
The Annual Conference at the International Bar Association was held this year in Sydney from 8 - 13 October 2017. Around 4,000 lawyers from across the world gathered for the conference. Quite a number of ADVOC firms had representatives at the Conference.
Sydney ADVOC member Colin Biggers & Paisley invited all delegates from ADVOC member firms to attend the dinner at its office during the Conference. Sixteen representatives from ADVOC members firms accepted, although a couple were unable to attend on the night.
The dinner was a great opportunity for partners from ADVOC member firms to gather and get to know each other better. The dinner had an Australian theme with Aboriginal artwork and Aboriginal music. On the menu was kangaroo and barramundi, an Australian freshwater fish.
A number of those who attended will be meeting again at the Joint Conference in Jaipur. It always is a great opportunity for ADVOC members when traveling abroad to visit the offices of ADVOC members in the countries which they visit.
