Founded in circa 1900.
SEUFERT RECHTSANWÄLTE traces its roots back to the end of the 19th century. Our firm’s name refers to Günther Seufert, its long-term senior partner. Our office in Munich has been operating at the same address since 1950, and our know-how profile partly derives from the history of our law firm, as its growth was connected to the large infrastructure projects in post-war Bavaria. Our Leipzig office was founded in 1990. Today, the firm combines a broad spectrum of commercial law capacity with highly specific industry expertise and acknowledged strength in public law.
Small and medium-sized enterprises from the most varied businesses, many of which we have supported for decades, rely on our commercial law support. For them we provide comprehensive legal support i.e. in corporate law, trade law, employment law, IP and IT law. Listed companies also rely specifically on our corporate transactions and capital markets capacity and entrust us with the preparation of and the back-up to general meetings.
We are a strong partner for companies in industries requiring answers to many public law questions. Among those, construction and real estate enterprises have a very long tradition in the industry focus of SEUFERT RECHTSANWÄLTE. Our firm operates a strong team of specialists for private and public construction law, conveyancing law, construction procurement law and architects law.
The same is true for our advice to natural resources and energy companies as well as important professional and industry associations. We advise on partnerships with the public sector and draft agreements for planning and exploration, engineering services and construction of the necessary plants.
Furthermore, SEUFERT RECHTSANWÄLTE has developed into one of Germany’s leading healthcare law firms. Our hospital law advice covers all planning, financing and remuneration questions, employment and pension issues and medical liability law. The hospital transaction team deals with privatisations, communal co-operations and other hospital transactions as well as the acquisition, sale and restructuring of major dental or medical group practices and healthcare centres.
Our unusually broad public law expertise is also sought by cities, communities and other public law entities. That applies for classical public law matters like urban planning as well as for municipal participations, intercommunity co-operations or the awarding of public contracts.
