We are primarily active with our well established expertise in the fields of commercial and corporate law, antitrust law, protection of intellectual property, fair competition practices, trademark law, internet law, banking and capital markets, labor law, real estate, family and inheritance law, all aspects of contracts, arbitration and tax law.

With our new colleagues, LSV consists of 15 professionals. LSV now also has the expertise to quickly and efficently handle larger transactions in the fields of mergers & acquisition, venture capital and private equity.

Our law firm was established in 1986 by the partners Hans-Jürgen Lappat and Reinhart Schütt and since then it has concentrated on providing advice in the fields of commercial law and tax law. After Michael Veltins joined the firm, we changed the name to LAPPAT SCHÜTT VELTINS. This legal form of the partnership was changed into a GmbH at the end of 2007 and renamed LSV Rechtsanwalts GmbH.

The increasing demand for tax consultancy and accounting led to the outsourcing of the regular tax consultancy to LSV Treuhand GmbH Tax Consulting Company in 1989 and to the concentration of accounting activities in LSV Revisions GmbH Accountancy Firm in 1992. LSV Rapido GmbH Tax Consulting Company, in existence since 1971, was acquired in 2004.

In close collaboration with our LSV accounting firm and the LSV tax consulting companies, LSV Rechtsanwalts GmbH advises their clients on legal, tax and business management concerns.
