Cooper Grace Ward is extremely proud to be one of 19 Australian and New Zealand organisations, and the only law firm, accredited as an Aon Hewitt Best Employer for 2013.

The firm received official accreditation last Thursday night at Aon Hewitt’s ‘Best of the Best’ gala presentation in Sydney, alongside other Best Employers such as Marriott Hotels & Resorts, FedEx Express, Silver Chef, Stihl and Frucor Beverages.

Best Employer accreditation is based upon an exceptionally rigorous qualification process, involving feedback from the organisation’s own workforce as well as thorough analysis of business performance and people practices.

Cooper Grace Ward Managing Partner Chris Ward said the accreditation was wonderful recognition, and testament to the value the firm placed upon a range of factors, including our team, workplace culture, effective leadership, open communication and high performance.

The firm has taken part in Aon Hewitt’s engagement survey since 2006, receiving a ‘highly commended’ citation in 2009. This year, Cooper Grace Ward was one of 125 companies that chose to participate in the program.

There is no limit on the number of organisations that can achieve accreditation each year, and the process is designed to produce valuable intelligence on the state of an organisation and how best to maximise the potential of its people.

Mr Ward said Cooper Grace Ward’s ongoing participation in the program was underpinned by the firm’s commitment to achieving high performance for clients.
