Leading Scottish law firm MacRoberts is delighted to have been shortlisted at the Managing Partner Forum awards for best collaboration with external specialists – in relation to their work with their digital agency, Moore Legal Technology.

MacRoberts and Moore Legal Technology have successfully collaborated over the last 12 months on SEO review and deployment, a firm-wide content marketing strategy, website conversion rate and sector marketing optimisation.

The awards, which take place in London in March, are judged by a panel of global senior management consultants from a range of institutions and companies including London Business School, The Law Society, Harvard Business School and KPMG.

MacRoberts, the only Scottish law firm to be represented at the awards, is competing alongside international firms including Hogan Lovells, Dentons, Allen & Overy, Baker MacKenzie, Deloitte and Barclays.

The nominations follow a strong financial year for the firm with increased turnover, profits and headcount. Draft accounts in the year-end to April 2016, show turnover up by 10% to £19.78m, profits climbing 12% to £6.9m and the firm’s headcount increasing by 12% across its three offices in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Dundee.

John Macmillan, Managing Partner said,

“It is a fantastic achievement to make the shortlist at these UK wide awards, and we couldn’t be more delighted. It is testament to the high quality work and client base that we have throughout the firm. This is very much a team effort and we are delighted to be recognised at a national level.”

In addition to these awards, MacRoberts has also been shortlisted for Firm of the Year and Family Team of the Year at the Scottish Legal Awards in March.
