With a view to receiving three million travelers at the Panama Pacifico airport in 20 years time, Tocumen, S.A. has prepared a plan to carry out invitations to bid for several projects for the expansion and equipment of this airport, as well as for the Enrique Malek airport in David.

Regarding Enrique Malek airport in David, it is estimated that before the end of 2016 the call for bids for the expansion and adaption of its platform will be held, with a cost of close to $1 million. For 2017 the plan is to make a call for bids for a new fuel system; adaptations of the rescue and fire extinguishing terminal; cafeterias; the platform and apron area; the expansion of parking lots; among other opportunities.
