Dvořák Hager & Partners advises on sale of division to Valeo Foods

In cooperation with international law firm Eversheds Sutherland, as the main legal advisor of the seller, our firm represented Finnish food company Raisio on the sale of its confectionary division to Valeo Foods. Raisio's confectionary division includes six production plants in Great Britain and the Czech Republic and well-known brands such as Poppets, Fox's, XXX, Just and Pedro. The value of the transaction was EUR 100 million.

Representation of a client in licensing proceedings before the Czech National Bank

Dvořák Hager & Partners successfully represented a foreign-owned fintech company in the registration procedure concerning a small-scale issuer of e-money. We prepared all required documents for the client, from the business plan to internal regulations. In addition to the licensing proceedings, our legal services also included corporate and financial law consulting.

Dvořák Hager & Partners exclusive legal advisor for GDPR calculator web project

Dvořák Hager & Partners participated as the main legal advisor in the creation of the GDPR calculator web project by Secure Data, providing a basic risk assessment and recommendations for audits and measures to be taken in individual areas. The www.gdprkalkulacka.cz site was launched at the end of last year and aims to make it easier for those affected by the GDPR to navigate through the regulation. Algotech a.s. was the main ICT advisor on the GDPR calculator project.

Dvořák Hager & Partners represented the shareholders of Turf Holding, a.s., which operates the Velká Chuchle racecourse, on the sale of the company to a strategic investor. Our legal services included preparation of transaction documentation and support in the negotiation phase.

The law firm of Dvořák Hager & Partners represented Granotrading in its purchase of established blown PE films manufacturer Slovpack Bratislava. Our legal services included due diligence and provision of comprehensive support during the transaction, including negotiation of transaction documentation and finalisation of the acquisition.
