JTJB Myanmar was formed in August 2013, as a result of the recent changes to Myanmar law and economic reform measures, allowing liberal entry of foreign business and professional entities into Myanmar, to carry out various business activities.

JTJB Myanmar Co Ltd is headed by Ms. Su Su Myat, who holds a Master Degree in Law from Yangon University. She has a good command of English, and worked previously in the legal section of the office of the Myanmar Investment Commission (1994 to 1999). Thereafter she worked with the law firm, Myanmar Legal Services Limited from 1999 to 2004. Between 2004 and 2013, she was an in-house legal counsel with an international port management company. Su Su has extensive experience dealing with inward investments issues and approvals, and is an accomplished corporate lawyer.
